"What really happened to him?" The doctor enquired from Peter and Nafisa, as he was doing everything to resuscitate the unconscious Hon. Musa. 

The Springfield Hospital along the Yola Airport road, is the hospital for the super-rich in Yola. With a state-of-the-art ER and a highly professional staff, the hospital was where Nafisa delivered all her children. So the Chief Medical Director knew them personally and has all their Medical records. 

Dr. Agyo is one of the top medical consultants in the State, a one-time Commissioner of Health, and had on several occasions tried to have an affair with Nafisa. 

He noticed a drop of blood in Hon. Musa's ear and asked if he was hit on the head or something. 

"He just got back from a long trip, I heard him come into the house through the guest wing. So I went out to welcome him, and that was when I found him lying face down by the door. I immediately called his P. A. Peter to rush over and help me bring him to the hospital". Nafisa lied casually. Even Peter was impressed with her calm demeanor. 👌

"He'd suffered a concussion, and we'd need to run a CT Scan immediately to ascertain the degree of harm his head has suffered". Said Dr. Agyo, as he scribbled a note on a piece of paper and handed it to one of the nurses in the ER. 

"Your zipper is down," the nurse told Perter as she rushed past him to execute the doctor's orders. 

Peter was all sweaty, nervous, and afraid for his future. He had forgotten his belt on the couch. He found a chair, sat down, and thought for a while. He then brought out his phone and dialed The Boss's number. 

The Boss hasn't been himself since H.E. called him a vulture, and snatched the meat from his mouth. He sat there in the crowd but felt lonely. He thought of a plan and smiled to himself. 

He got up and walked towards the toilet, missed his step, and fell forward. Banged his shoulder on a table while the pot belly absorbed the impact of his heavy body on the tiled floor.

"Hello cuz, I came for that thing at Springfield, could you come stay here with me? I'm scared to death" #Peace was telling Hadiza on the phone, after seeing she was active on WhatsApp. 

Peace is Hadiza's cousin, and also a student of the State University. She wanted to terminate an unwanted pregnancy because she was young, unmarried, and still in school. Hadiza had given her a nurse's phone number at Springfield. 

Hadiza was left wondering why H.E. had to leave in such a hurry. She had already been thinking of the millions the old man would give her for a good time together. She was deciding between a Toyota and a Honda. 🤔 'Level has changed" she told herself. 

But H.E. wasn't coming back, she didn't know. 

She strolled out of the room and realized she was alone in the flat. She only saw the housekeepers clearing the tables and rearranging the chairs. 🤔

"Where's everybody?" She asked one of the workers, who was shocked to see her coming out of the flat. 

"Party is over". The man replied sarcastically. 

Hadiza decided to go meet up with her small cousin at the hospital immediately. There was no time to go home and change. 

Suddenly, the hospital was invaded by security operatives. Then the Government House ambulance drove onto the emergency ramp. Peter was on the phone when he saw H.E. coming toward the entrance, accompanied by the Speaker of the House. He now understood why the security guys had taken position around the hospital. 

He started towards them to tell them which room Hon. Musa was being attended to, then he saw The Boss being hurried into the ER on a stretcher. 😲

The Boss had faked the whole thing just because he didn't want H.E. to commission "that" project before him. 

The Governor is rumored to have HIV and is allergic to condoms. So The Boss wanted to get in and out of the pond before the hooks were thrown in. 🙄

Now, as Dr. Agyo rushed out to meet the Governor, Hon. Musa, who was hooked to the EKG(electocardiography) regained consciousness in the other room. He opened his eyes and saw Nafisa holding his hand. He wanted to withdraw his hand but it wouldn't move. So he muttered "karuwa"(prostitute), but the sound came from his chest. Nafisa heard the sound and sat upright. "Thank God," she thought, as she hurried out to tell the doctor the good news. But there wasn't really any good news for her tonight. She knows how loud her husband is, he must tell the whole world what's happened. She imagined her children finding out. She was heartbroken and destroyed. 😢

The Boss was wheeled into the next space to Hon. Musa, separated only by a thick curtain. Dr. Agyo was asking questions as he checked for a pulse and other vitals. He got the same story as what happened to Musa. 🤷‍♂️

"What could be happening to these people tonight", the doctor thought. 

Immediately The Boss heard the doctor telling someone to get an injection, he opened his eyes. Pretending to look dazed. He hated injections. The last time he took an injection, he cried like a child. 

Dr. Agyo was talking with him when a nurse ran in and told him Hon. Musa had also woken up. "Is this a joke?" The doctor thought. How is it possible that these two would regain consciousness at exactly the same time? 

He rushed past before H.E. could even ask him 'How far?'. 

Peter was trying to make another phone call, then he caught a glimpse of Hadiza walking into the hospital, dressed like a roadside prostitute. "She's supposed to be sick and asleep".

H.E. also saw her walking in. Seeing her curves, he licked his lips and swallowed the remaining saliva hard. He wondered what she was doing here. "I hope she doesn't walk up to me though". He thought. 

Hadiza now saw Peter. Damn! He was staring at her surprised. 

She walked up to him, trying to look calm and sick.

Hon. Musa had suffered a stroke. Cannot even speak a word again. The doctor had just finished running the checks. Nafisa was crying beside his bed. Devastated that she was responsible. 

The Boss wanted to just rush to the guest house, believing Hadiza was still there alone. He was happy that his little trick had actually worked. 👌

Peace came out quietly sobbing. 😢She tested positive for HIV. And what she didn't know, is that the baby-daddy was also in the same hospital. Paralyzed. 

Hon. Musa had met with her just once when he traveled for a wedding in Michika. She was the Maid of Honor. She got a new Samsung smartphone from the meeting though. 

Peter told Hadiza about Musa. Both didn't know they'd contracted the dreaded virus from the same source. They later blamed each other for the virus and broke up. 

Hadiza is now a social media slayer. Her photos and videos get thousands of likes and views online. She still gets a few customers here and there, to also obtain what she's carrying. And of course, The Boss collected also. When his wife tests positive, she'll destroy his political career with a scandal. 

Peter continued serving politicians and their lonely wives in his capacity as an E-thug, an errand boy, and a gigolo. He later faked an HIV certificate to show his status as negative and married an innocent girl. 

Nafisa's little secret will remain a secret because Hon. Musa would never be normal again. 

H.E. paid for Hadiza to meet with him in Lagos on two occasions, and yes she posted her selfies on the plane, in the Palatial Lagos hotel room, and at the Ikeja Mall online. He'd gift her an iPhone when next they meet for another routine service.
