SINNER'S HEAVEN(1)




#Audu and #Anita have been married for over three years, a perfect family, with two cute sons. 


Driving home after a fiery Sunday service at Gwarimpa, Anita broke the silence with a question, "Why did you marry me?" 🤔


"Here we go again," Audu thought, rolling his eyes in his head. 🙄


"Because you were the sexiest girl I've seen", he replied carelessly. 😏


She thought for a moment and smiled. She knew he was lying because almost all his exes were sexier. Audu married her because her dad owned the oil company he consulted for. 


"So... Why did yooo marry me? " Audu asked jokingly,  as he turned the car towards the Suleja Expressway, they live around Kubwa. 


"Because you were the only one who never complained about my size". Anita had dreamt of being a First Lady because she grew up admiring Maryam Abacha on television. She wanted to be famous for something, by marrying the right man... Perhaps. 


She knew Audu was the wrong man, but nobody wanted a 30+ lady whose tummy looked as though she was 11 months pregnant. Her kid sister Jennifer had gotten married at age 21. And their mum would always add Anita's delayed marriage to the prayer menu every day. 


At one point, she thought something was wrong with her. She cried secretly and begged God to send just any man with a ring. She was tired of the embarrassment. A fake prophet once prophesied that she carried twins in that tummy... 😠 because she looked pregnant. 


Today, it was all about her marriage to Audu. Was it the best she could do? Is she happy? Is he happy? 


Audu is a fine-looking man, who just turned 40 two days ago. And at his surprise birthday party in the office, it was announced that Krystal Lounge, at Wuse2, was gonna be the burial ground for bottles that Friday night. He didn't tell Anita about it, because he didn't like the kinda attention they usually got while hanging out. People thought she was his aunt or something. 


Well, he went for his party, came home drunk, and crashed on the couch in the living room, since his legs would not obey the stairs tonight. 


Anita was awake, so she came down to ensure he closed the front door properly. 


He had just dozed off while chatting with a lady. Anita stumbled on the last line he sent, "She doesn't know..", so Anita grabbed a seat for herself... Wanting to know. 🤔


Apparently, the lady on the other side was Audu's kid sister #Amina, who lived in the UK. Amina was a pretty damsel. She could pass for Naomi Campbell any day. Tall, slim, watery eyes, and lips that would make any man lick his lips in a lustful desire. 


Amina had just paid for Audu's flat in London, where he was planning to move his family... Not Anita. But a classy London-based lawyer, #Doris. 


The two met on the train, almost two years ago, when he visited, with pregnant Anita, to buy baby things. Audu got Doris pregnant in the same week. 💪


Well, back to Anita and the chats... 


She read everything, plus the part where he was planning to just leave her and relocate to London since he held dual citizenship. 


Anita wasn't even angry or surprised. She'd seen all the signs that love had died a long time ago. He stopped touching her since she had the last boy, 18 months ago. She irritated him somehow. 


After reading everything, she looked for Doris' messages and saw her pretty photos, and that of her cute daughter. She even saw their traditional wedding photos. Wow! She actually DIDN'T KNOW SHIT! 


Interestingly, Anita had worked with a HIV/AIDS Foundation in the past, and Doris happened to be one of the patients registered under her then. 


Yes, Doris had the virus.
